The Service is designed for small remote startups (5-30 people) to enhance team culture without requiring HR support.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Creation

To use Bond44, you must have a valid Slack workspace and be authorized to install applications. The app installation process is handled through Slack's OAuth flow.

3.2 User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete information during installation
• Maintain the security of your Slack workspace
• Comply with Slack's terms of service and community guidelines
• Use the Service in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Respect the privacy and rights of other users

4. Slack Integration and Permissions

4.1 Required Permissions

Bond44 requires the following Slack permissions to function properly:

• Bot Permissions: Send messages, read channels, join channels, read user information
• User Permissions: Read user emails (for pairing functionality)
• App Permissions: Slash commands, app mentions, reactions

4.2 Data Access

The Service only accesses Slack data necessary for its core functionality:

• Workspace and channel information for pairing setup
• User IDs and names for creating pairings
• Email addresses only when users opt-in for pairing
• Reaction data for weekly opt-in functionality

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by removing the Bond44 app from your Slack workspace through Slack's app management settings.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of termination, subject to our legal obligations.
